Bleeding Between Periods (Spotting):Â Any bleeding or spotting that occurs outside of your normal menstrual window (intermenstrual bleeding).
Post-Menopausal Bleeding: Any vaginal bleeding after menopause (defined as 12 consecutive months without a period) is considered abnormal and must be evaluated immediately to rule out serious conditions like uterine or endometrial cancer.
Bleeding After Sex:Â Spotting or bleeding after intercourse can indicate inflammation, cervical issues, or abnormal growths like polyps.
II. ⚠️ PAIN AND PRESSURE SYMPTOMS
Severe, Debilitating Period Pain (Dysmenorrhea): Menstrual cramps that are so painful they interrupt your daily activities, cause you to miss work/school, or are not relieved by over-the-counter pain medication. This is a common symptom of Endometriosis or Adenomyosis.
Chronic Pelvic Pressure or Heaviness: A constant feeling of fullness, pressure, or “bulkiness” in the lower abdomen or pelvis, often caused by large Uterine Fibroids or an enlarged uterus (Adenomyosis).
Pain During Intercourse (Dyspareunia): Painful sex that occurs deep inside the pelvis, which can be a primary symptom of Endometriosis (due to scar tissue/inflammation) or large fibroids pressing on the vagina.
