Organic fertilizer is an excellent choice to help orchids grow. Homemade beetroot fertilizer is rich in nutrients and supports the flowering period. For optimal results, this fertilizer can be applied monthly.

3. Clean the roots

Over time, orchid roots accumulate residues of old fertilizer, which can affect their absorption of nutrients. That is why a regular root cleansing bath is recommended. About once every four weeks, soak your orchid in water for 30 minutes to cleanse and revitalize the roots.
