Mistake 3: Overloading your machine
Avoid overloading the washing machine, although it may be tempting to use each load to wash as many items as possible. This may result in the laundry not being washed as well and causing excessive wear due to friction. Also, don’t fill the washing machine more than two-thirds full. How do you know if it’s OK? Make sure you can fit one hand between the pile of laundry and the top of the drum .
Mistake 5: Not preparing your clothes properly for washing
Before putting a garment in the washing machine, always make sure to apply a stain remover to stubborn stains, because the ideal is to treat the stain as soon as it appears so that it does not have time to dry. To do this, white vinegar, baking soda, black soap, Marseille soap or lemon juice can work wonders. If this stain removal and pre-washing are so important, it is because the heat of the machine can tend to set certain stains . They can then no longer be removed and the garment is damaged! And let’s not even talk about the dryer which cooks the stains on the spot.
Also remember:
-Turn the laundry inside out to prevent colors from running during washing and drying;
-Close the zippers to prevent the zippers from rubbing the rest of the laundry;
-And unbutton the buttons.
Mistake 6: Not paying attention to the sun and the moon

The sun bleaches white linen, but dulls the pigments of colored or black clothes. As for the moon, or more precisely dew, there is a risk that your clothes will fade! Indeed, a photochemical reaction naturally produces hydrogen peroxide (or hydrogen peroxide), which dissolves in the water of morning dewdrops. As a result, the moon can help you bleach your linen, but it is not a friend of colored linen.
