19-year-old cadet found dead in dorm at US Air Force Academy

Avery Koonce, a 19-year-old cadet at the United States Air Force Academy, was found dead in her dormitory room this week. Cadet 4th Class Koonce was discovered unconscious in her dorm room on Wednesday night at the academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Despite attempts by academy first responders to revive her, their efforts were unsuccessful.
