An incredible tip that airline member Esther shared with her 216.3k TikTok followers revealed that traveling without a plug or travel converter is no longer necessary.
The KLM flight attendant gave some pretty wise advice.
One of Esther’s six hotel-related tips, which she shared while working for Dutch airline KLM, jumped out: “Is your world travel plug broken?” she asked. “Just plug the USB connection into the TV and charge your devices! If you have misplaced or forgotten the charger plug, this is quite useful.
Esther strongly promoted the effectiveness of her gimmick, suggesting that hotel guests would not have to rush to the duty-free to pick up a last-minute travel adapter. In addition, the cable should be sufficient so that they do not have to cram the plug into the already compact carry-on
luggage.
Because they constantly bring in outside air to maintain a fresh and breathable environment inside the aircraft, airplanes are well known for having dry cabin air. However, this constant flow of outside air also results in much lower humidity, so passengers feel dehydrated more quickly than usual.
A KLM flight attendant offered a simple remedy – a small towel – to deal with the dry air on the go. “Dry air is a constant complaint when traveling by plane. Plus, having dry air in a hotel room is not pleasant. Another great suggestion I have is to soak a small towel in water when you get to your accommodation and place it in front of you.” heating, she continued.
