Bring two liters of water to the boil, then remove from the stove and add 60 ml of laundry detergent, the juice of three lemons and a spoonful of salt.
Immerse the clothes in this solution and leave them to soak for 40 minutes, then rinse with plenty of water and dry in the sun.
Hydrogen peroxide. This ingredient is also very useful in treating certain types of stains and whitening laundry.
Pour 60 ml of laundry soap into two liters of water and add 60 ml of hydrogen peroxide. Immerse the garment in this solution for 30 minutes, then rinse.
Bicarbonate and lemon. To remove the most difficult stains, prepare a thick mixture of bicarbonate and lemon. This solution also helps to whiten laundry.
Sprinkle a spoonful of baking soda on the stain, then rub with half a lemon. Leave to act for 15 minutes and then rinse with plenty of warm water.
