Extreme fatigue.
Many people with lupus experience a feeling of chronic fatigue, even after resting or sleeping. This fatigue can be unexplainable and appear suddenly.

Joint pain and inflammation.
Lupus can cause arthritis, which in turn can cause joint pain and inflammation, especially in the hands, wrists, and knees. These pains may be accompanied by difficulty in moving.

Loss of hair.
People with lupus experience significant hair loss, especially when the disease affects the scalp. Hair can also look fine or brittle.
