For this, you’ll need:
500ml of white vinegar
200 ml of warm water
2 tablespoons of dishwashing liquid
Mix the ingredients, soak a clean sponge in this liquid and wring it out before scrubbing the entire surface of the mattress. Then rinse with another moistened and wrung-out sponge. Finish the cleaning by rubbing the mattress with a dry or microfiber cloth to absorb as much moisture as possible and let the mattress dry in the sun if possible.
Baking Soda: Baking soda is the solution for urine stains and odors. Simply sprinkle the white powder on the area to be cleaned and let it act for at least 30 minutes. Then scrub the area with a sponge soaked in soapy water and rinse with a damp cloth to complete the cleaning. Let it dry with the bedroom window open for ventilation. To get rid of dust mites, sprinkle baking soda over the entire mattress surface and let it act for a few hours before vacuuming it off. Your mattress will be free from parasites that can cause allergies.
Hydrogen Peroxide: Also known as peroxide, this product is effective even against the oldest mold stains.
For this, you’ll need:
30 ml of hydrogen peroxide
1 tablespoon of baking soda
Mix the two ingredients and scrub the affected areas with an old toothbrush. Then remove the excess cleaning product with a damp cloth and let it dry in a well-ventilated place.
