Delicious puff pastry sticks with ham and cheese – very crispy, tender, aromatic and just melt in your mouth! Everyone will be delighted with such sticks, and children especially love to crunch such puffs. Preparing them is quick and easy.
Ingredients:
1 rectangular pack of puff pastry from the refrigerated shelf
250 g sour cream
120 g diced smoked ham
150 g grated cheese
Instructions:
Begin by rolling out the puff pastry, covering one half with half of the sour cream, and then sprinkling half of the diced ham and grated cheese on top. Fold the uncovered side over the filled side.
Repeat the process for the other half of the dough, using the remaining sour cream, diced ham, and grated cheese. Fold the uncoated half over the toppings.
Cut the prepared puff pastry into strips, carefully twisting each strip into a spiral shape. Place the twisted pastries on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Bake at 190°C for approximately 20 minutes until the puff pastry sticks are golden brown.
Variation: For a different twist, try using smoked salmon instead of ham. Simply substitute with approximately 200 g of smoked salmon.
