- 1/2 cup coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon dried or fresh amla pieces (or amla powder)
- 10–15 fresh curry leaves
Method:
- Heat the coconut oil in a pan on low flame.
- Add the amla pieces (or powder) and curry leaves to the oil.
- Let them cook slowly until the amla turns dark brown and the curry leaves become crisp.
- Turn off the heat and allow the oil to cool.
- Strain the oil and store it in a clean, dry bottle.
- Massage this oil into your scalp and hair 2–3 times a week.
- Leave it overnight or at least for an hour before washing.
