Wash and Dry the Potatoes
Scrub the potatoes thoroughly to remove dirt. Pat them dry with a towel.
Add Flavor (Optional but Delicious)
Rub each potato lightly with olive oil or melted butter. Sprinkle salt and pepper all over the skin for extra flavor.
Wrap Each Potato in Foil
Tear a square of aluminum foil large enough to cover each potato. Wrap them snugly — but not too tight — so there’s a little space for steam to circulate inside.
Place in the Crock Pot
Arrange the foil-wrapped potatoes in a single layer inside the slow cooker. It’s okay if they overlap a little, but don’t overcrowd the pot.
Cook on LOW for 7–8 Hours or HIGH for 4–5 Hours
The cooking time depends on the size of your potatoes. You’ll know they’re done when a fork easily slides through the center.
Serve Hot and Fresh!
Carefully unwrap the foil (watch out for steam!), slice each potato open, and fluff the inside with a fork. Add your favorite toppings — butter, sour cream, cheese, or anything you love!
