A fruit that slows the development of dementia and even reduces “bad” cholesterol | November 10, 2025

Cheap and accessible to everyone.

It’s cheap and accessible at every turn, and it’s a real treasure!

A small but mighty fruit – cranberries – may be the key to preserving memory and preventing dementia! Researchers from the UK’s University of East Anglia have discovered that daily consumption of cranberries may be the key to improving memory, slowing the progression of dementia and even reducing “bad” cholesterol.

The study followed 60 healthy subjects for 12 weeks, with half of them consuming cranberry powder daily and the other half receiving a placebo. The results were surprising – the subjects consuming cranberries showed significant improvements in memory for everyday events, better blood circulation in the brain, and even a reduction in “bad” cholesterol levels.
