Ingredients:

  • 1 pound shredded, cooked brisket
  • 2 red peppers, diced (remove seeds to reduce heat)
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 pie crusts, homemade or store-bought
