Large sweet onions (Vidalia or yellow onions recommended) 4
Olive oil 2 tablespoons
Salt 1 teaspoon
Black pepper 1/2 teaspoon
Heavy cream 1 cup
Grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 cup
Ground nutmeg 1/4 teaspoon
Fresh thyme leaves 1 teaspoon (optional)
Breadcrumbs 1/4 cup (optional, for topping)
Instructions:
Preheat Oven & Prep Dish: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set it aside.
