Every year we look forward to going to my grandmother’s house for Thanksgiving. She was best cook I know. She raised 8 children and had a home cooked meal on the table every night. She spent all her time in the kitchen. She made all of her bread by hand and was great at making anything from scratch.I remember staying with them for a few weeks in the summer and she always made a bagel or a batch of peanut butter cookies. As soon as the hot bread came out of the oven, I cut it into slices and we ate a whole loaf. She was an incredible baker.
