Baking soda can seriously do wonders in your house, especially the kitchen. Not only does it help out in baking, but it is a natural cleaner and deodorizer.
This collection of the best ways to use baking soda will help your home look spotless in no time. Just follow along and let us know what you think.
Clean the inside of your oven
The inside of your oven is the last place you want to clean. Luckily, the following method that incorporates baking soda makes cleaning a breeze. Create a thick paste using a ratio of 3:1 baking soda and water. The specific amounts will vary based on how big your oven is and how much grease you’re trying to eliminate. Remove the oven racks and soak them in dishwashing liquid, and then spread the paste on your oven’s surfaces. If possible, use a paintbrush to even the paste out nicely. Then let sit for 24 hours. Once the baking soda has been given the amount of time it needs, wipe it off with paper towels or rags, wetting them as needed.
Dirty toilet bowl?
Believe it or not, baking soda can help clean toilet bowls. Use 1 cup baking soda and 3-5 drops of essential oil drops (we chose lemon flavor). Let sit for 15 minutes. Then wipe down your toilet with brush. Flush for final rinse.
