Fried potatoes and onion are a regular side dish in my family, the crispy golden skin and the melt-in-the-mouth center of potato chunks make us want to savor every bite. And together with equally crisp onions, there’s a harmony of flavors in every forkful.
Ingredients

1 lb. Gold potatoes sliced into bite sized pieces

½ Onion chopped into large pieces

Peanut oil

2 Tbsp. Butter

Salt and pepper to taste

Paprika and basil for garnish
Instructions

Add the chopped potatoes and onion to the heated skillet, and saute until the potatoe

Add salt and pepper to taste, drain and excess oil and garnish with paprika and basil prior to serving.
