Palmistry is the art of reading the lines on the hand, with its roots in Indian astrology and some Chinese legends. Later, this custom spread to Europe and Asia and even tempted Alexander the Great to choose an apostle for himself. According to these beliefs, reading the lines on our hands determines our personality and future prospects. And the cross on the palm is very important.
Some research on palmistry
Palmistry is a favorite subject of several scholars, starting with the Greek scholars Anaxagoras and Alexander the Great. The latter seems to have looked more closely at the palm trees, vividly marked with unique symbols. In addition, 3% of the world’s population now claims to have the same markings on both palms.
It should be noted that this divinatory practice, that is, palmistry, is not limited to reading the lines of the hand, it also studies the shape of the hand, the furrows, the nails and the shape of the fingers. All these aspects are directly linked to a person’s personality.
