In order to get crispy and juicy cucumbers when harvested, you must first successfully grow them. To do this, follow these 5 tips.
Sow cucumbers at the right time:
Before sowing or planting a vegetable crop, it is important to first know the planting period. You can sow cucumbers between March and May. In addition, the cucumber appreciates a sunny location and a temperate climate.
From March, sow the cucumbers under a warm shelter, placing 2 or 3 seeds per pot at a temperature of 20°C. After the seeds have germinated, you can only transplant strong seedlings outdoors from mid-May, when the frost has ended. Maintain a distance of 1 m between plants.
Please note that cucumbers do not like cold and frost. If you want to sow them directly into the ground, do so after frost, usually mid-May. Plant up to 3 seeds per bag, i.e. per hole, keeping a distance of one meter between plants.
