The oven is an essential piece of equipment for cooking enthusiasts. It allows you to prepare delicious, well-scented recipes. However, this home appliance gets dirty easily when used often. Fortunately, there are many simple tips to restore its shine, thanks to natural products.
1 – THE NEWSPAPER
And yes, newsprint is not only used to relay information but also has an excellent cleaning effect. Just remember to keep it!
Take some newspaper (after reading it of course), moisten it and rub your oven walls to remove all the dirt residue. As simple as it is fast, your oven is like new!
2- MARSEILLE SOAP
Marseille soap is a good alternative to white vinegar and baking soda. To benefit from its softening properties, simply mix it with water, then soak a sponge in this solution before scrubbing the grilles. You can also use a dish brush for optimal cleaning.
3 – DEGREASE THE OVEN WITH BAKING SODA
Baking soda, a well-known household ally of our grandmothers and clever cleaning enthusiasts, is also ideal to help you clean your oven. 100% ecological, it also has the merit of being available in all stores and of being as efficient as it is economical. To clean the inside of a dirty oven with baking soda, here’s how:
Pour 6 tablespoons of baking soda into a bowl, then add 2 tablespoons of water.
Apply the resulting paste to the walls and greasy surfaces of your oven, and leave to act overnight.
The next morning, rub gently, then rinse with a damp sponge. Grease stains and encrusted dirt will not have resisted, and your oven will be like new!
Note: if your oven is large or you have trouble reaching certain corners, do not hesitate to apply the paste using a brush!
