Donauwelle (Danube Wave Cake) Recipe
Ingredients
For the cake base:
250 g butter (softened)
200 g sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
300 g all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
3 tbsp milk
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 jar (350 g) of sour cherries (drained)
For the buttercream:
500 ml milk
1 package vanilla pudding mix
3 tbsp sugar
250 g butter (softened)
For the chocolate glaze:
200 g dark chocolate
2 tbsp butter
