In college, I had a friend who would mix cottage cheese with a few things and then use it as a dip for Doritos (and only Doritos). I don’t know exactly what she put in it, but the combo is so good, I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. So here’s my version of Doritos Dip, re-born. It’s so simple that it might be more of a serving suggestion than a recipe, BUT, you can’t keep the best ideas to yourself, so even though it’s simple, I had to bring this Doritos Dip to all of you.
What Ingredients Do I Need For Doritos Dip?
Not a lot. You need:
. Cottage cheese. Just trust me; it works.
. Green onions.
. Corn kernels. Fire-roasted if you can find ’em.
. Garlic powder and onion powder.
. (And salt and pepper, of course.)
That’s it. You can complicate it further if you want. I’ll give you some ideas for that down below.
How Do I Make Doritos Dip?
Well, my friends, you stir it all together. It’s that easy.
This isn’t a dip you have to chill for a long time before you eat it, though some time in the fridge does help that onion and garlic powder mingle a bit better.
