Here’s what you need to make this famous home brew:
– 3 cinnamon sticks: known for its warm aroma, often used to aid digestion.
– 6 bay leaves: known in French cuisine, also valued for their delicate aroma and effect on digestion.
– A small piece of fresh ginger (approx. 2 cm), peeled and sliced: a natural tonic par excellence that adds a touch of pepper to this drink.
– 10 cloves: their intense aroma invites you to travel, and at the same time is traditionally associated with a feeling of lightness after meals.
– 500 ml of water
You don’t need exotic or expensive ingredients: everything is available, economical, and above all… delicious!
Step-by-step recipe: as simple as herbal tea
Add all ingredients to a pot.
Pour in water and bring to a boil.
Simmer for 15 minutes. Strain, serve hot in a cup, and enjoy this moment all to yourself.
