Originally, a video of the accident’s immediate aftermath was posted on Facebook.
“The children stood alone, which was a positive indication.” According to the individual who initially shared the video, it was simply discarded.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office informed Chron that the investigation into the cause of the accident was ongoing and that charges would likely be filed against the motorist.
It is uncertain whether the children were appropriately restrained or in a car seat at the time of the accident.
