When do we ever stop to consider the adage “the saying goes around, comes around”? It is common for us to behave in ways that affect other people without fully comprehending the consequences of our choices. Fortunately, we are constantly reminded by life that we need to be a little more thoughtful.
One man’s choice to place his mother in a nursing home came when he realized he couldn’t care for her anymore after his father’s death. Neither she nor he was very fond of the place, and he only dropped by sometimes.
