“Actual Comedies Deserve Better”: The Internet Is Outraged That “The Bear” Is Taking Home Emmy Awards That Could Have Gone To Comedians

Of course, this is nothing new. When the Emmy nominations first dropped, people were upset that The Bear is continually labeled a comedy. The same reaction occurs when the SAG Award and Golden Globes noms drop as well, since The Bear is categorized the same way for all the award shows. But I’ve watched the series myself and definitely agree that it’s a drama.
