Instructions

1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
2. Cut in butter with a pastry blender or two knives until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
3. Stir in 2/3 cup half-and-half and vanilla extract until just moistened.
4. Gently fold in chocolate chips and mashed banana.
5. On a lightly floured surface, knead dough gently 5 to 10 times.
6. Pat into a 1-inch-thick round.
7. Cut into 6-8 rounds with 2-inch biscuit or cookie cutter; place on a parchment-lined air fryer basket.
8. Brush tops with 1 Tbsp half-and-half, sprinkle each with sugar.
9. Set air fryer to 390 degrees and cook for 7 minutes.
10. Let cool on wire rack.
