Preheat: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
Combine wet ingredients: Whisk the eggs, oil (or butter), and vanilla until smooth.
Add sugars: Mix in both sugars until fully blended.
Incorporate dry ingredients: Gently stir in the flour, baking powder, and salt—mix only until just combined.
Fold in pecans: Add the chopped pecans and stir lightly.
Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35–40 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool & slice: Let it cool before cutting into bars or squares.
