- Wash all the fruits and vegetables thoroughly.
- Peel and chop the beetroot, carrot, and cucumber into small pieces.
- Core and chop the apple (no need to peel it unless you prefer).
- Add everything into a blender or juicer:
- If using a juicer, simply run all ingredients through it.
- If using a blender, add chopped produce + water, blend until smooth, then strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove the pulp.
- Add lemon juice and ginger (optional) to the strained juice.
- Stir well and serve over ice if desired.
Serving:
- Makes about 2 glasses.
- Best consumed fresh, but you can refrigerate for up to 24 hours.
