Instructions:
1. Brown the Beef:
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with the diced onion until beef is browned and onions are soft (about 5–7 minutes). Drain excess fat.
2. Add Garlic & Rice:
Stir in minced garlic and rice. Cook for 1–2 minutes until garlic is fragrant and rice is lightly toasted.
3. Add Liquids & Seasonings:
Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Add diced tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
4. Simmer:
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for about 18–20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
5. Cheeseburger Finish:
Turn off heat. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top and cover for 2–3 minutes until melted.
6. Top with Bacon & Serve:
Sprinkle crispy bacon over the top. Add optional toppings like pickles or a drizzle of ketchup/mustard for a true cheeseburger twist.
