Optional Garnishes and Add-Ins
Fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs: For a herby aroma.
Chopped nuts (like walnuts or pecans): Adds crunch and nuttiness.
Additional honey: For drizzling before serving.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Prepare the Bread Bowl
Slice off the top of the bread loaf and set it aside.
Hollow out the inside of the loaf by scooping out the bread, leaving about a 1-inch thick shell. Save the removed bread pieces for dipping later.
3. Assemble the Brie Bowl
Place the wheel of brie cheese into the hollowed-out bread loaf.
Top the brie with the minced garlic and chopped prosciutto, spreading evenly over the surface.
Drizzle 2 tablespoons of hot honey over the top for a sweet and spicy kick.
Optionally, sprinkle with chopped nuts or fresh herbs for extra flavor.
4. Bake
Place the bread bowl on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Arrange the saved bread pieces around the loaf on the baking sheet for toasting, if desired.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes, or until the brie is melted and gooey, and the bread is golden brown.
5. Garnish and Serve
