Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, mashed bananas, sugar, sour cream, butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined (don’t overmix!).
2️⃣ Bake the Banana Brownies
Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let cool while preparing the glaze.
3️⃣ Make the Brown Butter Glaze (Optional, But SO Good!)
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt ½ cup butter and stir constantly until it turns golden brown and smells nutty (about 5 minutes).
Remove from heat and whisk in powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
Pour over the warm brownies and spread evenly.
4️⃣ Cool, Slice & Serve!
Let the glaze set for 15 minutes, then slice into squares.
Serve warm for a gooey texture or at room temperature for a chewy bite!
