These Caramel Pecan Dream Bars are truly delicious, and I discovered them thanks to The Recipe Tin Project. They take about five minutes to put in the oven and use mostly simple kitchen ingredients that you can easily have in your pantry. This makes them a quick dessert that you can make at any time. It’s difficult not to love a dessert bar that is sticky, sweet, and has a rich toffee taste. This is why Emily decided to write down this recipe. And I’m really happy that she did.
List of items needed to make a recipe.
For the base:
1 package of yellow cake mix
1/3 cup of soft margarine
1 egg
For the stuffing:
One can of sweetened condensed milk (14 oz).
1 cup of chopped pecans and 1/2 cup of Brickle baking chips.
How to Prepare Caramel Pecan Dream Bars
Heat the oven to 350°F and grease a baking pan that measures 9 by 13 inches with nonstick spray.
Combine the cake mix, margarine, and egg. Press the mixture into the bottom of the pan.
Put the filling ingredients (milk, pecans, and bits of toffee) on top of the base and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Allow to cool before slicing. Have fun!
