1️⃣ Sear the Beef:
🔹 Season the beef generously with salt & black pepper.
🔹 Heat a pan over high heat and add vegetable oil.
🔹 When the pan is very hot, sear the beef for 1-2 minutes per side until a golden crust forms.
2️⃣ Rest the Beef:
🔹 Remove from heat and let the beef rest for 10 minutes to retain its juices.
3️⃣ Make the Tataki Sauce:
🔹 In a bowl, whisk together:
✅ Sake
✅ Rice vinegar
✅ Soy sauce
✅ Water
✅ Lemon/lime juice
✅ Grated ginger & minced garlic
🔹 Stir well to combine.
4️⃣ Slice the Beef:
🔹 After resting, slice the beef as thinly as possible using a sharp knife.
5️⃣ Assemble & Serve:
🔹 Arrange the thin beef slices on a plate.
🔹 Drizzle with tataki sauce.
🔹 Garnish with sliced hot peppers, fried onions, lime wedges, and sesame seeds.
