Instructions
1. Preheat:
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
2. Butter the Bread:
Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
3. Assemble the Sandwich:
Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, onto the pan.
Add cheese slices on top of the bread in the pan.
Place the second slice of bread, buttered side up, on top of the cheese.
4. Cook:
Cook until the bottom slice is golden brown and cheese begins to melt, about 3–5 minutes.
Carefully flip the sandwich using a spatula.
Cook the other side until golden and the cheese is fully melted, another 3–5 minutes.
5. Serve:
Remove from the pan, let cool for 1–2 minutes, then cut in half if desired.
Serve hot and enjoy!
