Instructions:
Prep Work: Begin by heating your grill to medium-high heat. While it’s getting hot, lay out four large pieces of aluminum foil on your workspace.
Burger Patties: Divide the ground beef into four equal portions. Shape each portion into a patty and place one patty in the center of each foil piece.
Veggie Toppings: In a bowl, combine the sliced potatoes, chopped onions, bell peppers, and minced garlic. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper, and toss until everything’s well coated. Divide this veggie mixture among the foil packs, placing them around the burger patties.
Pack It Up: Fold the sides of the foil over the burger and veggies, sealing them well to form a packet. Make sure to leave some space inside for heat circulation.
Grilling Time: Place the foil packets on the grill and cook for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through. The burgers should be well-cooked, and the veggies tender.
Cheesy Delight: Carefully open the foil packs (watch out for the steam!) and sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top. Seal them back and grill for an additional 2-3 minutes, just until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serving: Remove from the grill and let them sit for a few minutes. Open the packs, garnish with your favorite burger condiments, and dive in!
Pro-tip: The beauty of this recipe lies in its versatility. Feel free to swap out or add veggies as per your preference. Mushrooms, zucchinis, or even some corn would make great additions!
