Instructions:
Prepare the Mashed Potatoes:
Boil potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender (about 15–20 minutes).
Drain and mash with heavy cream, butter, salt, and pepper. Keep warm and set aside.
Cook the Salmon & Shrimp:
Season salmon fillets and shrimp with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear the salmon for about 4–5 minutes per side, until cooked through and golden. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed and cook shrimp for about 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Set aside.
Make the Garlic Cream Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
Add heavy cream, chicken broth, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Stir in Parmesan cheese (if using) and cook until the sauce thickens.
Assemble & Serve:
Plate the creamy mashed potatoes.
Place the salmon and shrimp over the mashed potatoes.
Pour the garlic cream sauce over the top.
Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley.
Serve hot and enjoy!
