Directions

1. Preheat & prep:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a standard 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

2. Mix dry ingredients:
In a large bowl, whisk together the flourbaking powdersalt, and garlic powder.

3. Add cheese:
Stir in 1¼ cups of the shredded cheddar cheese, ensuring it’s well coated in the flour mixture. This helps it distribute evenly without sinking.

4. Combine wet ingredients:
In a separate bowl, mix the milkbeaten eggmelted butter, and honey until smooth.

5. Combine everything:
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture. Stir gently with a spatula or wooden spoon until just combined. Do not overmix — the batter will be thick.

6. Transfer to pan:
Spoon the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup of cheese on top.

7. Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean and the top is golden brown.
