Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a large baking dish with cooking spray or olive oil.
2. In a large skillet, heat a small amount of olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and garlic, sautéing for 2-3 minutes until fragrant and softened.
3. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned and fully cooked through. Drain any excess fat. Stir in the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat.
4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta with the marinara or pizza sauce, cooked beef mixture, and half of the shredded mozzarella cheese.
5. Pour the pasta mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese.
6. Arrange the pepperoni slices, chopped bell peppers, and black olives over the top, distributing them evenly.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
8. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley or basil if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
