Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
4. Stir in boiling water until the batter is smooth.
5. Fold in sliced strawberries and chocolate chips.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pans and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
7. Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
8. Once cooled, frost the cake with your favorite frosting and decorate with additional strawberries and chocolate drizzle.
9. Slice and enjoy this decadent chocolate-covered strawberry cake!
