Preparation Steps
1. Preheat the oven
Preheat the oven to 160°C using the static setting.
2. Melt the Chocolate
Melt the chocolate and butter together in a double boiler or in the microwave (in short bursts). Let it cool slightly.
3. Prepare the Device
In a bowl, lightly whisk the eggs, sugar, and salt (just to combine, without whitening).
Add the sifted flour and mix gently.
4. Stir in the chocolate
Add the melted chocolate/butter mixture and gently mix until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous paste.
5. Cooking
Pour the mixture into a greased and floured (or baking paper-lined) baking tin.
Bake for 22 to 25 minutes: the top should be set but the center still slightly wobbly.
6. Serve
Allow to cool slightly before serving. Serve plain, with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream or fresh fruit.
