Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the Dough:
Roll out the pizza dough and cut it into 1.5-inch squares.
Fill the Dough:
Place a mozzarella ball in the center of each dough square. Wrap the dough around the cheese, pinching the edges to seal, forming a ball.
Assemble the Tree:
Arrange the dough balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet in the shape of a Christmas tree (triangular pattern).
Season the Balls:
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, Italian seasoning, and salt. Brush the mixture generously over the dough balls. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 18–20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Garnish and Serve:
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with chopped parsley or basil for a festive look. If desired, place cherry tomatoes as “ornaments” on the tree. Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
