  1. In a blender, combine the eggs, sugar, vegetable oil, cocoa powder, and flour. Transfer the batter to a mixing bowl and add the hot water and baking powder, mixing until well combined.
  2. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake in a preheated medium-high oven (200Β°C/400Β°F) for 40 minutes.
  3. Once baked, remove from the oven and unmold while still hot.

Topping:

  1. In a saucepan, heat the milk, cocoa powder, butter, and sugar until boiling, stirring constantly until smooth and glossy.
  2. Pour the hot topping over the cake while it’s still warm, allowing it to soak in and create a delectable finish.

  • BUTTER: 1 cup = 225g | 1 tablespoon = 15g
  • FLOUR: 1 cup = 130g | 1 tablespoon = 8g
  • SUGAR: 1 cup = 210g | 1 tablespoon = 15g
