- Place the dark chocolate, butter, and instant espresso powder in a large bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water. Stir occasionally until the chocolate and butter are completely melted.

- Turn off the heat and leave the pot over the water. Add granulated sugar and light brown sugar. Whisk until completely combined, then remove the bowl from the pan. Allow the mixture to reach room temperature.
- Incorporate Eggs and Vanilla:
- Add 3 eggs to the chocolate mixture and beat until combined. Add the remaining eggs and vanilla, beating until well combined.
- Fold in Dry Ingredients:
- Sprinkle the flour mixture over the chocolate mixture. Using a rubber spatula, fold the flour into the chocolate until only a small amount of the flour mixture is visible.
- Bake and Enjoy:
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top.
- Bake in the center of the oven for 30 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through baking time. The brownies are ready when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely, then lift them from the pan using parchment paper. Cut into squares and savor the chocolaty goodness.
