Coffee and lemon: a surprising combination with unexpected benefits

How can I easily prepare it at home?

Nothing could be simpler:

  1. Prepare a cup of black coffee (hot or cold, depending on your preference).
  2. Squeeze  half a juicy lemon into it  .
  3. Stir. If the flavor seems too strong, add a little honey to sweeten it.
  4. Drink slowly, preferably in the morning.

Be careful, it’s not for everyone…

  • It is acidic   , so if you suffer from a sensitive stomach or acid reflux, it is best to avoid it.
  • Caffeine + lemon = tonic combination   : avoid in the evening if you want to sleep.
  • This is not a miracle solution   : this drink can support an approach to wellness, but it is not a substitute for a balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle.
