Swift, who has been featured in Coca-Cola’s advertisements for nearly a decade, sipping on Diet Coke while dropping chart-topping singles, is now finding herself on the wrong side of the corporate partnership game. And, as it turns out, even the most successful pop star in the world can’t escape the consequences of mixing soda with politics.

The fallout began almost immediately after Taylor Swift posted her endorsement of Kamala Harris on social media, praising the Vice President as a “role model” and the “perfect leader for the future of America.”
