Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×5 inch loaf pan or an 8-inch round pan.
In a bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder. Set aside.
In another large bowl, beat the butter until smooth. Add the condensed milk and beat until creamy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients, mixing just until combined. If the batter seems too thick, add 1–2 tablespoons of milk.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 40–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let it cool before slicing.
