Whether you’re treating yourself on a chilly evening, serving guests for a special occasion, or simply craving a comforting meal, this bisque delivers it all.
The beauty of this seafood bisque lies not only in its delectable flavors but also in its simplicity. The base is made with just a few ingredients—fresh vegetables, butter, and a dash of flour, which come together to create a smooth, velvety texture. With the addition of freshly ground black pepper and a touch of tomato paste, the bisque becomes a rich and savory canvas for the crab and shrimp, elevating the seafood to star status. What makes it even better is the creamy richness that comes from a generous pour of heavy cream, which gives the bisque its indulgent, melt-in-your-mouth finish.
Ingredients:

Step 5
Gradually pour the warm milk into the butter-flour mixture, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens.
Step 6
Add the black pepper, tomato paste, and heavy cream. Stir well.
Step 7
If you prefer a smooth bisque, blend the mixture in a blender or food processor, then return it to the pot.
Step 8
