Preparation of the Apples:
Wash and peel the apples. Cut them into slices and place them in a bowl with the lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Mix and set aside.
Preparation of the Dough:
In another bowl, combine the sugar with the eggs. Using an electric whisk, beat everything until the mixture is fluffy and frothy.
With the whisks still moving, pour in the oil, then add the milk and finally the yogurt.
Incorporate the Dry Ingredients:
Add the sifted flour with the yeast, mixing well with a spoon or an electric whisk until the mixture is liquid and smooth
Incorporate the Apples:
Incorporate 2/3 of the previously prepared apples into the mixture, mixing gently with a spoon.
Cooking:
Pour the mixture into a mold lined with baking paper. Distribute the remaining apple slices on top.
Bake in a static oven preheated to 190°/200° for about 50 minutes. If the cake darkens too much on the surface during baking, cover it with a little silver paper or baking paper.
Finishing:
Once cooked, let the cake cool in the mold. Before serving, sprinkle with vanilla icing sugar.
