Creamy Caramel Custard Pie

A smooth and luscious custard pie topped with rich caramel—perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients:

1 pre-baked pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup milk

½ cup granulated sugar

2 tablespoons cornstarch

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

½ cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Optional: Whipped cream for decoration

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Custard Layer
In a medium saucepan, combine cream cheese, heavy cream, milk, sugar, and cornstarch.
Whisk continuously over medium heat until the mixture thickens, about 5–7 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.

2. Assemble the Pie
Pour the custard into the pre-baked pie crust and spread it evenly.
Let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.

3. Add the Caramel Layer
Once the custard is fully set, pour the caramel sauce over the top.
Spread it gently to cover the surface evenly.
Optional: Decorate with piped whipped cream around the edges.

4. Final Chill
Refrigerate the pie for an additional 1 hour to let the caramel set and flavors meld.

5. Serve
Slice and serve chilled. Each bite offers creamy custard and a sweet caramel finish.
